Greers Ferry Lake and the Little Red River area are the home of Three World Record Fish. The three world record fish include a 40lb., 4 oz. German brown trout caught in 1992, a 27lb., 5oz. hybrid striped bass caught in 1997, and a 22lb., 11oz. walleye caught in 1982.
World Class Golfing
World class golf courses include four 18-hole championship course at Red Apple Inn, Tannenbaum Resort and Retirement Community, and Fairfield Bay Resort.
Ozark National Park
If the best of fishing and golfing is not enough for you to get away from the hustle and bustle, the Oazark National Forest is just 45 miles due north.
Hiking and Nature Trails
Numerous hiking trails such as the Buckeye, Mossy Bluff, and Sugar Loaf nature trails offer miles of trails with panoramic views of the scenic forests and valleys surrounding the Heber Springs and Greers Ferry Lake Areas.
Full of interesting craft and antique shops, Mountain View is located just a short distance from the lodge. Shop keepers are known for their friendliness, and you'll find picturesque storefronts full of antiques, musical instruments, arts and craft and all sorts of collectibles!
Blanchard Springs Caverns
If you're feeling adventurous, book yourself on one of the three exciting cave tours offered at Blanchard Springs Caverns! From a winding tour through the upper level, to an introduction to spelunking, Forest Service interpreters guide the informative tours.
